Workshop #3 Toward Gigabit Libraries in PA: Advanced Topics

This third of three Toward Gigabit Libraries in PA Workshops will focus on Advanced Topics including Broadband Mapping, Big Data, Data Literacy and Education and The Library Carpentries

During this two part interactive workshop, participating libraries will learn more about the following topics: 

•    Overview/Review of Toward Gigabit Libraries Internet2 IMLS national project and Toward Gigabit Libraries in PA project

•    Broadband Mapping initiatives and national updates

•    Northeast Big Data Hub, Data Literacy and Education, DataScience4All, Data 4 Kids

•    The Library Carpentries 

•    Other advanced broadband topics
